A funeral for Andrew "Drew" Spencer, 15, a Silver Springs resident for the past six years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Faith Baptist Church, 5715 Elm St., Silver Springs. A reception will follow.
Drew died June 12, 2004, in Silver Springs in a car accident. He was born May 2, 1989, in Bend, Ore., to Karen Spencer.
Before moving to Silver Springs, he lived in Bend.
He was a student at Silver Stage High School and previously attended Faith Baptist Academy. He enjoyed sculpting clay figures and playing video games.
Among his survivors are his mother, brother Neil and grandmother Evelyn Stiteler, all of Silver Springs; aunts and uncles Fred and Debbie Stiteler and family of Washoe Valley, Dan and Linda Harrison of Washoe Valley, Earl and Jolene Stiteler of Granger, Wash., and Mary Reed and family of Silver Springs; and many other family members.
Private burial will be at the Silver Springs Cemetery.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
