Charlotte Schmitt, 94, a Carson City resident since 1997, died June 11, 2004, in Carson City. At her request no services will be held.
Mrs. Schmitt was born Nov. 7, 1909, in Oregon City, Ore., to Charles Van Orden and Marion Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Ralph Schmitt in 1999.
Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Eugene, Ore. Mrs. Schmitt was a homemaker.
She enjoyed fishing, sewing and cooking.
Among her survivors are her son Larry Schmitt of Eugene, Ore.; daughter Carol Pitts of Carson City; four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park near Junction City, Ore., beside her husband.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
