A memorial service for Nancy L. Wise, 68, a Carson City resident for the past 32 years, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Wise died July 20, 2004, in Carson City. She was born July 2, 1936, in Martinez, Calif., to Joao and Lucille Machado Teixeira.
She attended Alhambra High School in Martinez. She married Paul B. Wise April 24, 1954, in Martinez.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Concord, Calif.
Mrs. Wise was a homemaker and a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her son, Victor, on June 5, 1998.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; son, Daniel B. Wise of Santa Rosa, Calif.; sister, Dolores McJunkin of Carson City; brothers Daniel Novo of Carson City and Manuel R. Francis of Martinez; two grandchildren; and four nieces and five nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
