Carson Valley Inn ready for football

The Carson Valley Inn is providing a full spectrum of fun for the 2004 football season with big screen action, great food and beer specials, plenty of betting opportunities at the Sports Book, and Monday night free prize drawings and double points.


The Inn's Café Cabaret will be open starting Sept. 12 every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the third quarter. A variety of super-size football munchies return for just $1.75 including nachos smothered in chili and cheese, sloppy barbecue brisket sandwich on a Bun, Chicago Red Hots steamed in beer, chili cheese dogs, stadium popcorn buckets, cheesy nachos, chili bowl and deli sandwich slices. Bud or Bud Lite jumbo draft beer is just $1.25.


There are also plenty of great drawings and double points during Monday Night Football. On Mondays from 5 to 11 p.m., INN Club members earn double points on all slots. Points can be used for restaurant and hotel comps, 76 Gas cards and the CVI gift shop. Free drawings are held on Monday nights for all casino players and those watching the game in the Cabaret Lounge. Prizes include NFL logo shirts and hats for the teams playing that night, colorful new 2004 Carson Valley Inn "Football at the Inn" shirts, plus the popular one-day lift tickets for Kirkwood ski resort.


At the Cal Neva Sports Book in the Carson Valley Inn, those intersted can enter Northern Nevada's biggest and most popular football contest, "Pick Your Pros." This season-long contest provides total prize money of $275,000 including $12,000 paid to winners each week. The entry fee is just $25 for the season and the deadline is kickoff of the first game on September 12.


Parlay cards can be bet 52 weeks a year and there are many extra weekly football parlay cards. Football season also brings Sunday and Monday-night proposition cards and halftime wagers on all NFL games and all televised college football games. The Cal Neva Sports Book at the Carson Valley Inn also offers a variety of future and proposition wagering, index wagering, and a full spectrum of sports choices.
