A service for Betty Casey, 80, a Carson City resident for the past 11 years, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Casey died Nov. 3, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Oct. 2, 1923, in Detroit to Russell and Anna Merton Casey.
She was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church and was the former head of its Altar Guild.
Among her survivors is her close friend Kay Hoover of Carson City.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or to a favorite charity.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
