The event held by the Carson Sertoma Club raised $1,918 for Eagle Valley's Tree Fund. Eagle Valley Golf will begin preparations for this year's planting in early October and, using funds from the tournament, community donations, and a grant from Carson City Soroptimists, expects to plant 25-30 trees at its Tree Day in mid-October.
