A private family service for Chera LeAnn Peterson, 33, a Chico resident, was held in Chico, Calif.
Ms. Peterson died Dec. 29, 2002, in Chico. She was born June 24, 1969, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
She attended schools in Carson City.
Ms. Peterson's hobbies were making American Indian jewelry and dream catchers. She collected angels.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Among her survivors are her children Kyle, Andrew, Ashley and Dustin; mother and stepfather, Cookie and Roger Giblin of Chico; father and stepmother, Pete and Jacque Peterson of Council Bluffs; sister Joy Shannon of Antelope, Calif.; brothers Ray and Curt Peterson, both of Carson City; stepbrother, Scott Giblin of Lakeview, Ore.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
