Obituary: Eddie Williams

A funeral for Eddie Williams, 71, of Missouri resident will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, Mo., with the Rev. Leroy Moon officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams died Feb. 11, 2003, in Clarksburg, Mo. He was born Oct. 19, 1931, in Bloomfield, Mo., to Ernest and Pearl Williams.

Before moving to Missouri, he lived in the Carson City area for 15 years.

Mr. Williams was a self-employed carpenter.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from Feb. 23, 1949, to Aug. 23, 1950, during the Korean War.

Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Karen of Rogers, Ark.; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Bill Gross of Clarksburg, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Hickman Cemetery near Clarksburg with military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mr. Williams' family.

Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
