Carson boys ski team stays unbeaten

The Carson High boys ski team needed a one-two-three finish from Devon Anderson, Danny Rotter and James Reavis to pull out a win against Galena and stay unbeaten.


Carson beat Galena 80-74 and defeated Hug 90-0 to improve to 6-0-1 in a giant slalom race on Thursday. The Senator girls lost Galena 86-52 and beat Hug 52-0 and are now 4-3.


Against Galena, Anderson won in 29.3 seconds, Rotter placed second in 29.5 and Reavis placed third in 29.6. Also for Carson, Robbie Liebherr took seventh in 30.1 and Clinton Sisk placed 11th in 34.5.


Against Hug, Anderson won, Brett Andersen placed second (31.2), Liebherr took third (32.2), Sisk placed fourth and Caleb McCoy took fifth (34.8).


For the girls, Chelsea Anderson placed second against Galena in 32.1. Sydney Parker took ninth (37.4), Dusty Brower placed 10th (40.7) and Katie Perdomo took 11th (45.0). Against Hug, Anderson won, Parker placed second, Brower took third and Perdomo was fourth.
