Doris P. Wallace, 84, a Gardnerville resident for the past three years, died July 29, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Canada to Harry Howard and Ruth H. Howard Lee.
Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived at South Lake Tahoe for 25 years, moving from Hayward, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bruce Wallace, in 1985.
Among her survivors are daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen Lee and Anthony Joseph Ferreira of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Sharon A. and Gary J. Vargas of Gardnerville; grandchildren Gary Robert Dimodana, Robert Maselli and Tracy Miller and husband, Daniel; and great-grandchildren Marcus Miller, and Dimodana and Isaac Miller.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
