District 6 covers Pershing and Humboldt counties and is currently handled by two judges. The other incumbent, Jerry Sullivan, filed for re-election Tuesday.
Wagner, 58, was first elected to the bench in 1990. Before that, he was Pershing County district attorney in Lovelock for 16 years.
