Bulldog wrestling hosts zone meet today

Eight wrestlers for the Carson Bulldog youth wrestling team won titles at the South Tahoe Tournament last weekend.

Patrick Craugh, Owen Craugh, Blake Davidson, Eric Aguilera, Micah Whitcome, Ricky McDonald, David Cadwalleder and Kelly Manning all placed first. Other wrestlers who placed were:

Robbie Bozin, third; Austin Brown, third; Colby Brown, second; Jonah Chalk, third; Brandon Davidson, fourth; Jordan Luhrs, fourth; Garrett Manoukian, third; Cole McCarthy, second; Ben McDonald, fifth; Willie McDonald, second; Anthony Pisani, second; Jonah Schenezel, second; Nolan Shine, second; and Jason Klug, second.

The Bulldogs will host the zone tournament, with wrestling to begin at 9:15 a.m. today at Carson Middle School. Championship matches are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
