While no millionaires were made Sunday, one woman came pretty close and a handful of people went home with awards during the Silver Dollar Car Classic's eighth annual car show in Carson City.

"It was a sell-out as far as I am concerned," said a happy but exhausted Judie Fisher, program coordinator on Sunday.

Fisher said this year's proceed will benefit the Carson City chapter of Special Olympics.

"They were such a great help," she said of the athlete-volunteers who helped to man the booths.

Fisher hopes at least $3,500 will have been raised for the organization.

The winner of the Poker Run was Diana Bentancourt of Livermore, Calif., who came here with about 14 others for their first trip to the Silver Dollar Car Classic.

The poker run's grand prize was a chance at a 167-yard shot to the green at Empire Ranch Golf Course for a $1 million hole-in-one on the ninth hole on the red course.

"She came up just short of the pin at 126 yards," said Candace Duncan of the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
