Woman dies in rollover

An single-vehicle accident claimed the life of a 32-year-old Lovelock woman, the Nevada Highway Patrol said Wednesday.

Tracie Ann Norris was ejected from her vehicle on Interstate 80 about 20 miles northeast of Lovelock after the vehicle she was driving drifted onto the dirt median and overturned about 9:10 a.m. Tuesday morning.

She was not wearing a seat belt.

Also in the vehicle was Norris' 1-year-old daughter, Desiree Repman, who was securely fastened in a child safety seat and received minor injuries, Trooper Patrick McGill said.

Passenger Catherine L. Sanders, 40, of Lovelock, received moderate injuries and was taken by CareFlight helicopter to Washoe Medical Center where she was listed in fair condition. She was wearing a seat belt.

According to McGill, the road at the time of the accident was icy. Witnesses indicated the car was traveling at the posted speed of 75 mph.
