Ms. Deanna Morgan apparently has a problem with providing and paying for a safe environment for our children to pursue the pastime of skating and skate boarding. Does she care that there is now no safe, legal place for the children to engage in these activities?
Does she think that the other entities in our area that do have and support skate parks are imposing an undue hardship on the residents and tax payers? Does she think that the residents of the Gardnerville Ranchos really want or need a gambling establishment in their midst?
Building and maintaining a skate park is possibly not a sound financial undertaking, but our kids need it. On the other hand, no one needs "CVI South."
