The Dayton Senior Center, located at 320 Old Dayton Valley Road, next to the Dayton Library, will feature a rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.
In addition, the center's gift shop will be open. The gift shop has many handmade items including clothing and wood pieces. Smaller household appliances, dishes, what-nots, jewelry and books are also available. The bake sale will have cookies, cakes, pies and other assorted goodies.
"Just about everything you can think of will be here," said Site Manager Nancy Cregan. "We have a lot of beautiful clothing that's been donated."
Raffle tickets for a Christmas wreath and an afghan will be available at the center. Cost is three tickets for $1. Winner need not be present to win. Winning tickets will be drawn Dec. 21 at the center's birthday/Christmas party.
