Ivan L. Bowman, 54, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, died Nov. 8, 1999, at Washoe Medical Center. He was born Dec. 2, 1944, in Baltimore, Md., to Stuart and Delma Felix Bowman.
He was an Akron, Ohio, native and moved to Weaverville, Calif. before coming to Carson City.
Mr. Bowman was self-employed as designer and creator of Indian replicas for Spirit Warrior Gifts.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his son, Ivan Lee Jr., daughter, Denise, sister, Madeline Heim of Carson City and nieces Theresa Heim and Brook Barlow.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
