Preregistration deadline is Friday for the "Workshop/Conference in Music: Music Across the Curriculum Grades K-6" (Mus 484/684), which will be offered April 14 and 15 by the University of Nevada, Reno.
This course will provide regular classroom teachers with activities designed to enhance their students' regular course of study. integrating music in the areas of math, science and reading will be presented as well as areas of cultural and historical significance, physical education and self-expression.
The course will be offered April 14 from 4-10 p.m. andApril 15 from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Silver Springs Elementary School, 3900 Spruce Ave., Building C, Room 306 in Silver Springs. The course fee is $75.50 for one undergraduate credit or $100.50 for one graduate credit. The instructor is Audrey A. Berger, M.M., elementary music specialist.
