As I drove into the parking lot of the Post Office in Dayton, I noticed Old Glory flying. As I entered there was an employee, a young lady, I thanked her for flying our flag. She said, "Are you a vet?" I said, "Yes." She said that on her way to work the radio said to shake a vet's hand. As we shook hands my eyes watered up. They only flew Old Glory half-a-day.
I went to Dayton Justice Court and asked Lyon County Sheriff's Sgt. Jerome Wynans to fly their flag and he sure did. I want to thank both of you for a nice Veterans Day. Semper Fi
