Horse endurance event on May 6

The Nevada All State Trail Riders will hold their Annual Horse Endurance Event on May 6.

That event will begin and end at Washoe State Park in Washoe Valley.

The horseback event uses dirt roads and trails south and east of Virginia City, Carson City and Dayton.

The riders will compete over 25-mile, 50-mile and 100-mile routes.

As many as 160 riders could compete.
