Terry Dee Canup, a 21-year-old Idaho man arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of a stolen truck and drug paraphernalia, is wanted in Nez Pearce County, Idaho, for violating probation, authorities said.
While investigating the alleged truck theft, Carson City deputies found that Canup broke his probation agreement for a conviction on felony charges of injury to a child and lewd conduct.
An Idaho official said it was likely he will be extradited because of the seriousness of his crimes.
Canup, 21, and Grant Van Yeaman, 19, and a 16-year-old girl were arrested after an anonymous caller told deputies the 1998 Ford Explorer the threesome had driven from Idaho was stolen.
The girl's 3-month-old child was placed in protective custody after her arrest.
