A private burial for Ruth S. Martin, 89, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery today.
Mrs. Martin died Oct. 1, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Dec. 10, 1910, in Bridgeport, Conn.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Torrance, Calif.
Mrs. Martin was a registered nurse. She was active at the Carson City Senior Citizens Center.
Among her survivors are her son Joseph Settani of Redondo Beach, Calif.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
