Meet the Driver barbecue set for Friday at Ormsby House

The second Meet the Driver Barbecue will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday in the parking lot across from The Ormsby House.

This will be an opportunity to meet the drivers of sprint cars, super modifieds, midgets and more, and there will be a special guest appearance by Indy 500 Car and Sprint Driver Davey Hamilton.

Cost of the barbecue is $5 for 15 and older and $2 for children 14 and under. All proceeds benefit the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada, Inc.

The event is sponsored by Dan Barnes, sprint car driver Amy Barnes, Kids Milk and the Ormsby House Hotel and Casino. Raffle prizes will be provided by Home Depot, Kaeding Performance, The Ormsby House Hotel Casino and The Children's Museum.
