FALLON - Ali Banister had three goals while Erin Steiber and Bria Dankworth scored two more as the Carson girls soccer team stayed undefeated on Tuesday with their 11-1 win over Fallon.
"These are games where we just try to focus on some of the things that we need to work on," coach Mike Popp said. "Basically, we worked on moving the ball and getting softer touches on the ball."
Allison Kop, Erica Landis, Jessica Bray, and Emily Maier each added goals as most of the Senators goals came off of break aways, Popp said.
Carson goalie Krissy Rose only had to make two saves as Carson outshot the Greenwave 29-3. Carson's hosts Galena on Saturday at 3 p.m. in a match-up of two of Northern Nevada's best teams.
