Carson City Library's Youth Department celebrates National Children's Book Week by sponsoring a Bookmark Contest Nov. 13-19. Entry forms for the bookmark contest can now be picked up at the library's Youth Department. Entries will be accepted through Nov. 18. Three winners from each category will be announced Nov. 21. The three categories, determined by age, are 2 to 5 years old; 6 to 9 years old and 10 to 12 years old. All winning entries will be printed for distribution to library patrons visiting the Youth Department.
The Carson City Library is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.- 9 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Monday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
