Kevin Daniel Bunch of Carson City Boy Scout Troop 420 has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
Nationwide, this rank is only achieved by 1 percent to 2 percent of Boy Scouts.
Kevin, 17, is the son of Chet and Debbie Bunch of Carson City. He is a senior at Carson High School, a National Honor Society member, an All State Choir participant, a Capital Stars performer and is active in the Carson High School Performing Arts Department. He enjoys acting, singing, dancing, playing piano and composing.
His Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project was the repair and preservation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of fencing at the FISH temporary housing facilities at Stewart.
The Eagle Court of Honor ceremony was held July 12 at the Nevada National Guard Melvin Bode Howard Building.
