Playing in the school's first appearance in a regional tournament will be the Bighorns boys basketball team this week in the 1A Central-West three-day event. The team includes senior Armahn Brantley, juniors Marcus Dahl, Jacob Alcaia, Douglas Lee, Aaron Brown and Ryan Jones; sophomores Trevor Halloran, Jacob Ferrenburg-Pike and Joshua Bloomfield; and freshman Gabe Romero. The head coach is Donald Schank and he's assisted by Carey Gantt.
For the first time in the school’s short history – and in its first year of eligibility – the Oasis Academy boys basketball team is going to the playoffs.
