It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Epps, age 56 on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Mike had a short but hard fight against cancer and God decided it was time for him to go home. Mike was born in South Lake Tahoe, CA and moved to Gardnerville in the early 90’s. Mike worked as a finish carpenter for many years in the Carson Valley, was a musician, and owned A to Zen in Carson City.
Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 16 years, Meredith Epps, Daughters, April Epps, Emma Epps, Merisa Renteria (Chris), and son Michael Renteria. His brothers Jerry and Gary and in-laws. Mike had many friends that he called family and was loved by many.
A celebration of life for Mike will be in Carson City at the Brewery Arts Center outdoor stage on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 6:30pm.
