“Stephen Thomas Jackson passed from this world on April 13, 2023.
Born in January 1961, Steve grew up in Fresno, CA and graduated from McLane High School in 1979.
Steve worked with Gemco Shoes until he joined his brother, Don, in Nevada to help create Jackson Drywall (Jackson Unlimited) in 1985 for whom Steve worked until his passing as a Lead Superintendent.
Before the creation of Jackson Drywall Steve and Don worked for DeCarlo Drywall where they constructed Meadowdale Shopping Center in Gardnerville.
Steve was an avid golfer (he even enjoyed it on T.V. without falling asleep). He was a past member of the Road Runner’s Golf Group. He made the papers on August 15, 2001 when he hit his first Hole-In-One at Carson Valley Golf Course. Steve really loved to laugh and making
others laugh as well. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and wherever he went he acquired new friends.
Steve is predeceased by his parents, James and MaryLou, his brother Ricki, and sister Michelle.
He leaves behind his wife, Amy, of 20 years, son Tommy, stepson Nicklas Frankwich (Rachel), three grandchildren, his older brother Donald (Bonnie), sister Debbie (Larry), brother
William (Flo), youngest brother Michael, eleven nieces and nephews, and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.”
