Ruthann Shelby Moon passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2023.
Ruthann was born in Florida and was raised in the Miami area attending elementary school and college there eventually moving to California.
Ruthann was an xray technician and worked at Barton Memorial Hospital until she retired. Ruthann loved golf and made delicious food with her late husband.
She also loved to travel and enjoyed wines and loved to be sociable and greeted everyone with a smile.
She was married to the late Robert (Bob) Moon for 22 years until his passing. She moved to Carson City in 2011.
She is survived by her sons Paul and Jesse Shelby as well as her sister Melinda De Rouin and brother Vern Daley.
There will be no funeral but instead family and friends are invited to a celebration of life that will be held at the Carson City Elks Club at 515 North Nevada Street, Carson City on Friday May 19th from 2pm-4pm.
