On January 29, 2023, our beloved son Michael passed away unexpectedly. He is survived by his parents John and Penny Moss, Wife, Cari Moss, Son, Jacob Moss [wife Aspen] Daughter, Hannah Moss, Son Aaron Moss, Grandson Jaxon Daniel Moss, Brother John Moss Jr. [wife Tammy] Sister Kelly Moss Moak [husband Danny], Sister Kaci Moss Pilgrim and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Friends.
Michael loved sports and excelled in baseball and football at both Morro Bay High School and Ventura College. He was an avid fisherman, loved boating [in his beautiful boat, which he called “Greased Lightning“], surfing, jet skiing, snowboarding, and skiing. Michael’s sons Jacob and Aaron and daughter Hannah, all loved fishing the Sierra’s, and called Indian Creek Reservoir their favorite spot. He also loved playing softball and throwing horseshoes. Oh, and cannot forget to mention his passion for the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Michael will be dearly missed by all his family: his sense of humor, his impersonations from some of our classic comedies, and the looks he would give you - will always keep us smiling. Rest In Peace, Michael - Until We See You Again.
There will be a celebration of life on March 5, 2023, from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm at the Gardnerville Community Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville, NV 89410.
