Steven Jon McGrath, longtime resident of Carson City, Nevada, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023 at the age of 81.
Born in Red Wing, Minnesota on August 9, 1941 to John Frederick McGrath and Lois Irene (Johnson) McGrath. Lived in Sonoma County, California at various times. Attended Carson High School in Carson City, NV, and then enlisted in the Marine Corps. He was a marksman and held titles in Judo. He eventually returned to Carson City where he worked as a Building Inspector and General Contractor. He loved history and travel. He is survived by his wife Teresa McGrath, daughters Angela McGrath and Loretta McGrath Francis, twin brother Paul McGrath, sister-in-law Darlene McGrath, nieces Lori McGrath and Lesa Alberto, step-children and other extended family.
