Bruce Charles Ricker U.S. Veteran

September 2, 1934 - October 29, 2022

BRUCE CHARLES RICKER, 88 a Carson City resident since 1976 peacefully passed away on Oct. 29, 2022, at home with his family by his side.

Born Sept. 2, 1934, Smith Valley to Dwight and Esther Ricker. He attended school in Dayton and Gardnerville. He enlisted in the Navy at an early age and was stationed in San Diego where he met his wife Jeanette and married in 1953.

He spent 9 years in the service, Bruce moved his family to Fallon NV in 1961 where he worked with Andy Drum’s Nevada State Construction Co. Bruce later started his own business as a Case Tractor Dealer in Fallon. He then moved to Carson City in 1976 to work for the Carson City Public Works as a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor when he retired in 1996.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, mother, three brothers and a sister.

He leaves behind his wife Jeanette Lavonna Ricker of 70 years, two sons a daughter, 7 grandkids and 14 great grandkids.

Bruce will be put to rest at Elm Tree Cemetery in Yerington NV with a grave site service attended by his family.
