Ann Geary

Ann Geary passed away on January 27,2022.

Ann is survived by her children Kristen Hugues, Jason Geary and Lizbeth Geary (Greg Chico). Along with Ann’s eight grandchildren. Dallas, Dawson, Hailey and Hunter Hughes. Bruno, Dante, Mia Reviglio and Sophia Chico. In addition to her brother Gent Culver and his wife Barb Culver.

Ann Geary was born on September 27, 1946 to Aldon Rowland Culver and Barbra Jean Gaxiola- Culver in King City California.

Ann is proceeded in Death by her beloved husband of 43 years Patrick Geary and her parents.

Ann was raised for a few years in King City, until they made the move to Emlay, Nevada. It was in Emlay that Ann’s love for horses began. Ann’s first pony was given as a birthday present and was given to her by her father, as he walked that pony right into the house and into her bedroom.

The Culver’s moved to Reno Nevada, years later Ann’s love for horses continued and she was even caught a few times riding her horse on the Washoe County Golf Course. In Reno, Ann was a member of several groups and organizations and attended Reno High School and Graduated in 1964.

Upon graduation Ann went to junior college and attended a party where she met Patrick Geary. After Pat and Ann married, they moved to Lake Tahoe Nevada, where they started Incline Glass and a very small antique shop. Ann was the bookkeeper and secretary to their family business
for 45 years.

In 1982 Ann and Pat found their home in Gardnerville Nevada, deep in the Pinenut Mountains. In 1987 they moved back to civilization to the current Valley View Ranch. The home to many famous Horseshoe Tournaments, Weddings, parties and the Northern Nevada Antique
Power Club Tractor Show.

Ann’s love for her kids was being at every 4-H, FFA and Horse Show. Attending every school activity and making sure her kids had everything they needed. Her love for horses was deep in her blood as Ann owned and showed many Quarter Horses. Ann’s corgis are her beloved companions.

The Geary Family thanks everyone for their love and support.
