Wanda Lee Martin, 71, went home to be with the lord after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis on November 23, 2022. Wanda was born on March 28th 1951 in Portland Oregon and had been a Carson City resident since 1976. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Betty Carey and her brother James Carey whom she loved dearly. She was the third of four children.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Martin of Dayton, her son Brian (Sara) Breiter, grandson's Hayden and Alex Breiter, stepdaughters Cheri Leedom, Pam Martin, Debora Martin, adopted Daughter Angela Martin. Sisters Phyllis Whited, and Bonnie (Bill) Flim, nephews and nieces Robert (Cecilia) Whited, Greg Schierholt, Pamela Price, all of Carson City, plus four great nieces and nephews, seven step grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
Wanda worked as Secretary for First Baptist Church of Carson City for many years before going to work for the State of Nevada, she started with UNR and then the moved on to the Nevada Division of Minerals where she Retired after 28 years of service as an Accountant.
She loved her family, friends and her little dogs with all her heart. Wanda was an amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She touched everyone she met with her kindness, sense of humor and unending generosity. She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday December 9 at 11:00am at Mountain Vista Baptist Church (formerly First Baptist Church), 1750 N. Mountain Street Carson City. Please come and celebrate her life with us.
