The R-C Morning Report for Feb. 22
Genoa, Nev. — It snowed overnight, so we don’t have much to fear from the river, unless you hit a patch of black ice and end up in it. My way of saying be careful driving in today, it looks like it could be slick out there.
A neighborhood meeting on the hazards faced by Johnson Lane residents is 7 p.m. tonight at the Johnson Lane Fire House on Stephanie.
It looks like most of the snow that fell in Western Nevada valleys landed in Reno-Sparks, so if you’re driving up there be prepared for a bit of weather.
Expect a slight chance of snow today before 10 a.m. and then snow showers after 4 p.m. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near36 degrees and breezy with wind gusts of up to 35 mph.
