Genoa, Nev. — I’m hoping to hear more today about the traffic fatality along Topaz Lake on Saturday afternoon.


County commissioners are continuing to work on the Douglas County Master Plan at noon today. The meeting times out at four hours. Commissioners are meeting at the historic courthouse, 1616 Eighth St., in Minden.


A South Lake Tahoe man accused in a series of Stateline burglaries is scheduled for sentencing this morning in Douglas County District Court. Peter Quillian, 25, was arrested in September.


A fast-moving ‘storm’ is expected to bring wind and maybe a little snow on Wednesday night. We’ll see what happens. After the last couple, I think the quote marks are justified.


There’s a slight chance we might see snow and rain showers this morning. Otherwise expect partly sunny skies and a high temperature near 49 degrees, with the wind out of the west at 10 mph.
