Almost 40 percent of Douglas County’s 435 high school seniors who graduated last spring received advanced or honors degrees, according to a report scheduled for today’s school board meeting. Of 497 total seniors, 62 didn’t graduate with their class. School board trustees meet 4 p.m. at the Airport Training Center.
Planning commissioners have a stack of zone changes to match master plan amendments approved last year. The planning commission meets 1 p.m. at the historic Douglas County Courthouse in Minden.
There are still a few road controls out there, including 50 over Spooner Summit, 89 over Luther Pass and 88 over Carson Pass.
We’ll get to see the sun today, though the high will work to climb past 40 degrees. The breeze will be out of the east at 5 mph.
