Youth volleyball clinic to start on Monday

The second session in a series of youth volleyball clinics will be held Monday through Thursday at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center.
Four days of instruction will be offered for students in third through eighth grades during the clinics, which are directed by Dan Hannah and Rick Jenkins with support from the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department.
Group instruction, active drills, video feedback, on-court personal training, and competitive situations will be used to develop volleyball skills in the participants.
Registration is open to boys and girls.
The beginners section will be held each day from 8-10 a.m. at a cost of $50. The intermediate section will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at a cost of $80. Advanced students will receive instruction from 1-3 p.m. at a cost of $100.
