Shawn Estes, P, Arizona Diamondbacks: Struck out two in seven innings of work against the Padres Sunday. He picked up the win and improved to 2-1 on the year with a 3.96 ERA.

Bryan Miller, fr., OF, Mesa College: Miller is currently third in batting in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference with a .380 average. He’s second in the conference with 43 runs scored and fourth with 60 hits.


Kristy Olsen, fr., OF, Iowa State: Iowa State pulled off a gigantic upset of No. 4 Texas Sunday in a nationally-televised game on ESPN2. It was Iowa State’s first-ever win over Texas, and first win over a top 25 team this season.

Olsen sacrificed the eventual game-winning run to second base in the top of the seventh as the Cyclones pulled out a 1-0 win.

Olsen also picked up a hit Saturday against one of the top pitchers in the country, Texas’ Cat Ostermann. Iowa State lost that game 2-0.

Katie Pagen, fr., P/3B, BYU-Hawaii: Season over, stats not available.

Kaycee Wilcks, fr., OF, Nevada: Wilcks went 1-for-3 with two RBIs in a 4-2 win over UTEP, went 1-for-2 with an RBI in an 11-3 win over UTEP and went 1-for-2 in a 14-0 loss to Washington over the weekend.

Daniel Sipko, fr., Eastern Oregon: Sipko finished 12th in the 3,000 with a time of 9:12.61 at the Washington State Invitational this weekend.
