Volleyball: Douglas swept by Manogue

Staff Reports

Douglas fell to Manogue in three games, 25-15, 25-12 and 25-23, Thursday night in Reno.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 8-16 overall and 5-9 in Northern 4A play with Galena and Damonte Ranch both coming to town this week to close out the regular season.

Douglas will still need at least one win or a Damonte loss to clinch a playoff spot. That matter will likely be decided in the regular-season finale between the two schools on Thursday.

Damonte faces 1-13 Wooster on Tuesday while Douglas takes on league-leading Galena.
