Staff Reports

The University of Nevada football team continued to add to its list to players who have committed to the program for 2018 with its seventh commitment, Scout.com has reported.

Jaden Dedman, a three-star cornerback from Upland, Calif., verbally committed to Nevada on Friday, Scout.com reported. As a junior in 2016, the 5-11, 175-pound Dedman earned second-team all-Baseline League recognition.

He transferred there from Oak Hills (Hesperia, Calif.) where he played one varsity season as a sophomore in 2015.

Dedman joins three-star quarterback Carson Strong from Vacaville, Calif., two-star athlete Patrick Willis from Crenshaw in Los Angeles, three-star offensive lineman Kevin Coblentz from St. John Bosco in Southern California, two-star offensive lineman Wyatt Bowles from Syracuse, Utah, three-star wide receiver Kashan Griffin from Apple Valley, Calif., and cornerback Nathaniel Vaughn from El Camino College.
