Tigers take on Reno swimming
Facing a traditionally tough and perennially powerful Reno High swim squad, the Douglas Tigers managed to turn in several strong performances last week at the Carson Valley Swim Center.

Sturgess took second in both the 50 freestyle (23.17), and the 100 free (50.20), and Schaff finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:01.40).
Matt Duguay finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:15.18.
On the girls’ side, Stephanie Denson finished second in the 50 free (28.81), Josefina Sigala took second in the 500 free (5:52.97) and Andrea Lindsey finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.60).
