Twin brothers Marco and Jack Gooding went 1-1 on the day and freshmen Joey Swisher and Austin Ball picked up a win in their varsity debut.
“I can’t say enough about our doubles teams,” Douglas coach Rod Smith said. “They did a great job dominating a pretty solid group of Reed players. Their match scores speak for themselves.
On the singles side, Cody Tindel went 2-1 while Craig Stratton and Pat Johnson each had a win.
“Cody played solid in the No. 1 slot. He plays with a lot of confidence and a touch of swagger that really compliments his competitive nature,” Smith said.
