At 87, Louise Bell shoots hole-in-one at Ranch Course
June 4, 2017
Louise Bell, at 87 years young, found a fitting way to celebrate Memorial Day this week.
She went out and shot a hole-in-one at The Ranch Course at Genoa Lakes.
Bell used an 8-iron for her ace on the 80-yard 16th hole Tuesday during Ladies Day Beat the Pro play. It was her third career hole-in-one.
It was also the fifth hole-in-one on The Ranch Course in May.
John Fisher aced No. 16 on May 24, when he used a pitching wedge for a 130-yard shot. It was his second ace, the other coming 20 years ago at the Carson Valley Golf Course.
Dede Nieto also used a pitching wedge to ace No. 16, a 90-yard shot.
