The Douglas High softball team continued a strong week Thursday afternoon, beating McQueen 8-3 in Reno.

The Tigers never trailed in the game and used a five-run third to make up the difference in the game.
Kelly Sonnemann went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a double, Leonna Mortimer went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and Makayla Shaver hit a solo home run for the Tigers.
Kaitlyn Bowman drove in a run and Maddie Parks, Allison Meyer, Illiana Brown and Sargent each had one hit.
