Roberson awarded scholarship at Nevada

Staff Reports

Former Douglas High standout Reagan Roberson has been awarded a scholarship for the University of Nevada football team, Chris Murray reported for the Reno Gazette Journal on Twitter on Tuesday.

The sophomore who plays tight end for Nevada was one of the Wolf Pack’s top special teams players as a freshman in 2017. His highlight came last season when he caught a 24-yard pass on a fake field goal attempt at Colorado State.

A 2017 Douglas graduate, Roberson played basketball and track for the Tigers along with football. In football he was named all-league as a linebacker and tight end and was named the Sierra League Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
