Fisher added to Boise State roster
Here is a breakdown on some Carson Valley athletes who have graduated from high school and now compete in college:
DUSTY FISHER, Boise State, 2013 Douglas High graduate: Fisher (6-2, 179) was one of seven new players added to Boise State’s spring football roster on Tuesday, according to a report by the Idaho Statesman newspaper. Fisher was a non-playing student at Boise State in the fall. He was a two-year letterman in football and three-year letterman in baseball at Douglas. As a senior during the 2012 football season, Fisher was an all-state receiver and set school records with 65 receptions, 1,167 yards and 15 TDs.
DEVYN HOTHO — St. Olaf College (Minnesota), 2011 Douglas High School graduate: The junior forward had one assist Saturday in St. Olaf’s 6-1 win against Hamline in Northfield, Minn. Hotho now has four assists on the season for St. Olaf, which is 4-11 overall for the season, 4-4 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play.
