The event featured a costume contest as well as relay and individual races. The Douglas Tigers competed Friday at the Reed Invitational, where John Munyan ran 16:45 for 5 kilometers to place third and the boys team finished third overall. Douglas finished fourth in the girls team race. The Tigers will take a week off for homecoming before they run again on Oct. 8 at the prestigious Clovis Invitational in Fresno, Calif.
