The Nevada Yankees amateur baseball club jumped on the winning track by winning three straight games on home turf at Lampe Park over the weekend at Lampe Park.

Eric Honea belted a pair of home runs and drove in seven runs to pace the Gardnerville-based Yankees to a 19-7 victory against the Tahoe Emeralds on Saturday night. The Yankees came back on Sunday to sweep a double header from Incline, winning 7-4 and 9-8.

The Yankees, now 5-7 on the season, scored seven runs in the third inning to take a 9-1 lead on the Emeralds. They never looked back.
